BAC Beginners Course

The Bristol Armoured Combat (BAC) Beginners Course is returning in October 2026! Running on Sunday 25th October 1400 until 1800 hours at our training venue it Stanshawes Court, Yate. You will learn the basics of the sport. Following completion you will be able to join us for our regular training sessions on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. Your course fees include your subs for the rest of September too!

All you need to bring is water, a groin guard and yourselves! There are only a limited number of slots for the course so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Once you have completed the form, we will be in contact with further information to get you ready for your beginners course.

Once you have completed this course you can join us for our regular training sessions on a Wednesday (1900 until 2100 hours) and (most) Sundays (1800 until 2000 hours). You’ll be added to the WhatsApp group, introduced to all the other fighters and take your Bohurt journey to the next step.

BAC Women’s Beginners Course

The Bristol Armoured Combat (BAC) Women’s Beginners Course is starting up in September 2026! Our four week beginners course runs from 1600 until 1800 hours on;

Sunday 11th October 2026

This covers all the basics of getting into the sport, safety, equipment, striking, moving and grappling.

After completing the course, you will have the opportunity to join the club for £30 per year. This includes your public liability insurance. Once joined, you will be able to join us for ISCA Rebellion on Saturday 17th October at the South West premier training venue in Hereford. This will give you your first opportunity to fight in armour during our annual rookie rumble!
